A normal brush pulls loose fur out of the coat and leaves it in the brush or around your home. This tool uses suction to pull that fur straight into the collection cup while you groom, so there is far less mess to deal with afterward.

Highly recommend for cats!!!
This is quiet enough that my cat doesn't freak out, and helps control shedding and dander! It makes grooming so much easier. I would only recommend for dogs with "fine" hair, because the device isn't that big.
